Uncle Ian was such a lovely, gentle man. We didn't see much of him over the years because of the long distance between our homes, but when we did it was obvious to us that he was the most loving and kind husband to Auntie Olive, father to Katrina, Jessica, Rosie and Alison, grandfather and great-grandfather. Our parents, Gwen and Fred, always spoke so well of Uncle Ian. It was a pleasure to have known him. Love from Robin and family

We didn't see Uncle Ian very often over the years due ti the great distance between our families, but saw him more over recent years at Woolgoolga. He was a favourite uncle and he was a treasured brother in law to our mum Gwen. They had a special bond from the beginning. Our dad Fred loved him too and enjoyed his company and conversation. A life well lived. A man well loved.
