A service to celebrate the life of Gil Campbell will be held at 3:30pm in the Federation Chapel at Lilydale Memorial Park, 128 Victoria road. Lilydale on Monday the 29th of September. You can watch the service via livestream link below on the day. Following the service, you are invited to join the family at the York on Lilydale, 138 York Rd, Lilydale, to continue sharing more memories of Gil.

Gil was one of the nicest people that l worked with at Lilydale Heights College. No job was too great for him to tackle in the Food Dpt. from blocked sinks to retrieving a smelly mouse from within the workings of the prep room electric stove. I knew l could always call on him for help and he would complete the job with a grin on his face. I would have liked to attend the celebration of Gil’s life, however, l am committed to supervising Yr12 practice exams on the day. I send deep condolences to all of Gil’s family. He was taken far too soon. Please know l will be with you all in my thoughts on Monday as l reflect Gil’s life with love, laughter and a couple of tears. Judith Meikle
