To Rae, Jess, Andrew, and Bridie,
I'm really sorry I can't be there with you today from Japan. Even though I've always lived far away and didn't get to spend much time in Melbourne, Tim always made me feel welcome whenever we did see each other. I always liked how he would ask really great questions - it showed how curious and much he really cared about knowing how me and my family were going, and about life. He was just so kind in that way. I'm going to miss him and having the chance to go to the footy together again. I'm thinking of all of you today and sending love from me and my family.
Take care,
Matt, Kasumi, Noa, Anju and Juno
