Dear Suzanne, Ben, Brad, Tim and all the family. We were shocked to hear the news that Bruce had passed away. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve. How comforting to know that Bruce is in his heavenly Fathers care, despite the current pain you must be feeling. Xx
Dear Suzanne and family. What a beautiful tribute to Bruce's life! Zach spoke so well, and all eulogies were heartwarming and very moving. Even if you didn't Bruce you would come away with the knowledge what was most important in Bruce's life: his love for Jesus and fulfilling his God given role: loving his wife and raising a family in the knowledge of Him. He truly leaves a wonderful legacy. God bless you as you continue in Bruce's legacy and I pray you will be comforted and strengthened as you grieve your loss. Psalm 34:18 a promise. Much love from Hanneke Giddings.
Dear Sue and family What a beautiful service for Bruce. We felt privileged to watch it today and praying for you all and ask God's peace and comfort to you all. We were blessed to know Bruce as a friend. Love Ros Grae and our family
Dear Sue and Family, I cannot begin to imagine the depth of your sorrow right now, but I want you to know that my heart aches for you. Losing someone so special leaves a void that words often fail to fill. Please remember that it’s okay to grieve, to feel the weight of your loss, and to take the time you need to heal. The person, the love of your life, who you have you lost, was a light in this world, and their memory will forever remain a part of you. Hold onto the beautiful moments you shared, the laughter, the love, and the lessons they taught you. Those memories are treasures that can never be taken away. As you navigate through this difficult time, please lean on those who care about you. You are not alone in this journey. I am, and every around you today, are here for you and the boys, ready to listen, to share a quiet moment, or to simply sit in silence with you. Whatever you need, we are all just a call away. Take all the time you need to grieve and remember that it’s okay to feel joy again when you’re ready. Your loved one would want you to find peace and happiness, even amidst the pain. With all my love and support and deeply sorry I am not beside you today physically but my heart and love surround you always. Deepest condolences from Shelley and Family xoxox
We just want you to know our thoughts and prayers are with you and the whole family. Bruce was such a lovely guy and it was a complete shock to hear of his death. Nothing we can say will take away your loss but the Holy Spirit will comfort you. Continue trusting in God. I know the family will be by your side at this time, they will be your support and God will be your strength, your comfort and your peace. Psalm 73:23-26 (especially verse 26)
Suzanne and families, devastated to hear of Bruce’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you navigate the time ahead. Alan and Trix
Bruce was like a guardian for me when I used to crash at the family house with Ben, Brad and Tim in my early 20s. He was extremely kind generous and way to understanding considering we were a bunch of delinquent idiots back then. It was a shock to learn of Bruce’s passing, I wish Sue and the boys my sincere condolences, I will always cherish my memories of him.
I was heartbroken to hear of Bruce’s unexpected passing. Although I’m interstate and sadly unable to attend the funeral, please know my thoughts are very much with you all during this difficult time. Bruce was a calm, reliable, and genuinely kind person — a joy to work with every day. His professionalism and calm demeanour, even in the most challenging situations, was something I admired greatly and continue to strive toward in my own work. He often spoke with such warmth and pride about his family, and it was always clear how much you all meant to him. He will be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege to know him. My thoughts are with you now and in the days ahead. Jo
To Bruce’s Family We have never met in person and perhaps we never will. Let me introduce myself. I have worked with Bruce in Cadbury and at GFP for the last three years. I left for an overseas holiday to Europe on 20th June, having said goodbye to Bruce and planning my return to work on 17th July. I asked Bruce to please ensure everything was ok for my time away, so that our team continued perform well. I left so reassured. I was devastated to hear of Bruce’s passing. But you know what, it made me realise that life is so fragile and we must live in the moment. We take so much for granted! Bruce constantly told us all that he worked for his family holidays and the joy of having everyone together, brought him the most satisfaction and happiness. We all knew he did not need to work but the purpose was so compelling and reassuring. At work Bruce was so competent and we all followed his decisions. At Cadbury he instinctively knew the sales patterns so well, that it appeared he had a crystal ball. He really did find his passion in his career, which is so rare! When I return there will be no one in the office beside me - Bruce’s office. But life will go on and so it should. I pass on my sincere condolences and hope that Bruce continues planning a short and long term plan that will console you all. We are all so grateful for him. May he now RIP.
