Mick was a pleasure to work with and if I had opportunity to pick a dream team to make up a crew, he would have been high on my list. The tributes given at his memorial were exactly as I expected them to be, as he was pretty much the same at work, maybe a bit better behaved (at least when I was there). With deepest sympathy to all the family.

I don't dance any place outside of the kitchen. The only thing I really know about dancing I learnt from Mick, and that is that there are only two styles of dancing. The first is where you've got something up your bum and your trying to keep it there; elbows tight against your sides, cheeks clenched. The other style is that there is something up your bum and you're trying to shake it loose. Mick's demo was priceless. This gem of knowledge he shared at work (not as a professional dance instructor) he was always fun to be around.

Over the many years of knowing Jess and her beautiful family. I remember my very first 4wd trips and Mick drove us up the mountain. Mick found this opening and started to do skiddies galore and myself Jess and her sisters had non stop laughter yelling “skiddies” over and over - it’s a memory that still makes me laugh.
Another adventure that will always stick with me is when he let myself Boysen and Jess ride on the roof while the rest of our mates were in the trailer. Definitely a core memory.
And our last camp trip with Jess’ family, my partner Amanda and I had to leave that morning and it had been raining all night down at sheepyard flats. We were nervous but asked Mick how to get up the hill with a caravan and no muddies on. He reassured us that we would be alright and to keep it in low gear.
Mick was always just a chilled laid back funny bloke and I’ll always be grateful I got to be part of those times with him and his family.

I remember vividly meeting Mick in the ‘80’s when he first started dating my sister. I immediately liked him. He clearly adored Kaz, in fact, he couldn’t keep his hands off her - something that didn’t change even after nearly 34 years of marriage!!!
Mick and Kaz had found their true soulmate in each other. It was wonderful watching them become parents to 3 beautiful daughters, and then grandparents to four precious grandchildren. Mick was super proud of all his family, and loved them all so much!
Mick was funny, kind, courageous, caring, attentive, cheeky, smart, affectionate, and a bit of a daredevil. I have so many happy memories of Mick, and I know his legacy will live on in our hearts and minds forever.
I love you Mick, and I miss you so much. Rest in eternal Peace xxx

Rest in peace Uncle Mike, I've been devastated since we heard of your passing. I won't ever forget the many camping trips. You were always happy to help out with anything, helping Dad jump my old beater from questionable roads and scenarios. You always had something funny ready to say and always lit up a room. My thoughts are with Karen, Jess, Natalie and Beth as well as their immediate families.
